RaceRoom: V0.9.4.75 mit Verbesserungen und BMW M3 GT4 am Start

(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) - Wie in der vergangenen Woche angekündigt, wurde für die PC-Rennsimulation RaceRoom am Mittwoch ein neues Update veröffentlicht. Mit der Version 0.9.4.75 einher gehen Überarbeitungen in den Klassen GT3 und WTCC, sowie Änderungen im Bereich Force Feedback und eine Aktualisierung der Strecken Brands Hatch, Donington und Sonoma, sowie Überarbeitungen für den Dedicated Server und Gameclient.

Neu in RaceRoom: BMW M4 GT3 Zoom

Mit dem FFB-Linearitäts-Update können die Kräfte für jedes Auto durch die Entwickler einzeln abgstimmt werden, was sich für Simracer in einem rundum bodenständigeren und stabileren Fahrzeugverhalten, insbesondere bei niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten, bemerkbar machen soll.

Außerdem können Simracer nun im RaceRoom-Store den BMW M3 GT4 erwerben. Der Einzelpreis liegt bie 4,98 EUR. Ergänzend wird zum reduzierten Preis von 8,57 EUR noch das BMW M4 GT3 All Liveries Pack mit 19 Lackierungen und dem Fahrzeug angeboten.

-Force Feedback - Introducing dynamic linearity which will allow us to tune the forces on a per-car basis through steering geometry and power steering adjustments. It makes all the cars feel more grounded and solid to drive, particularly at low speed. This update makes the existing FFB Linearity slider obsolete, so slider was removed with the update. The changes will help to get the most out of any type of wheel, however, you may find that some weaker wheels need a slightly higher ?Minimum Force' setting with the removal of the linearity setting. Users who were running above 85 per cent linearity before shouldn't have to change anything. However when used to 80 per cent and lower, it is recommended to up the minimum force by 1 or 2 per cent.
