Automobilista 2: Zwei Aktualisierungen und zwei Gameplay-Videos

Reiza Studios demonstriert mit zwei Videos die Rennaction in Automobilista 2 und liefert in dieser Woche gleich zwei umfangreiche Aktualisierungen zu den Racer alle Einzelheiten hier lesen können

(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) - Gleich zwei Mal hat Automobilista 2 in dieser Woche ein Update erhalten. Am Mittwoch stellte Reiza Studios die Version 1.1.0.4 bereit. Darin enthalten sind größere Verbesserungen und Korrekturen für die Rennstrecke Spa-Francorchamps, Überarbeitungen im Bereich Physik (Antriebswelle) und KI. So sollen die vom Programm kontrollierten Gegner sich nun in Multiclass-Rennen mit dichtem Verkehr viel weniger chaotisch verhalten.

In dieser Woche gab es gleich zwei Aktualisierungen für AMS2 Zoom

Einige der Änderungen, über die das ausführliche Protokoll weiter unten eingesehen werden kann, erfordern ein Zurücksetzen der Einstellungen auf die Defaultwerte bei einigen Fahrzeugen. Dafür ist es jedoch nicht notwendig den Automobilista 2-Settings-Ordner zu löschen.

Am Freitag wurde dann die als Hotfix bezeichnete Aktualisierung auf Version 1.1.0.5 veröffentlicht mit der weitere Fehler behoben und Überarbeitungen vorgenommen werden. Beide Updates enthalten zudem Verbesserungen im Bereich Audio, Strecken und Fahrzeuge.

Zusammen mit den neuen Versionen gibt es zwei ausführliche Gameplayvideos. Darin werden die jüngsten Entwicklungsfortschritte zum Beispiel in Spa unter wechselnden Witterungsbedingungen und Multiclass-Rennen mit nicht weniger als 24 KI-Fahrzeugen (klassische Tourenwagen der 70er- und 80er-Jahre, moderne GT3-Fahrzeuge und 600 PS starke Prototypen) auf der gerade einmal 2 Kilometer langen Strecke Velopark demonstriert.

-Added new improvements to AI behaviour when it predicts it´s going to run off the road (should reduce some causes of abrupt lateral movement / loss of control)

-Copa Fusca: Fixed engine sound drop-off during gear shifts
-SprintRace: further improvements to audio loops
-M1 Procar: increased volume when driving in swingman view

-Velopark: Improved wall collisions; fixed some terrain gaps; improved shadows; adjusted tire stack height; adjusted 3D grass to fix instances of wall clipping; removed shadow casting and reflections from transparent face
