Automobilista 2: Ginetta G40, LiveTrack, Physik- und KI-Verbesserungen
Reiza Studios liefert mit der Version 1.1.1.0 substanzielle Verbesserungen für die PC-Rennsimulation Automobilista 2 und mit der Ginetta G40 ein weiteres Fahrzeug
(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) - Bis zum letzten Wochenende des Monats Januar mussten Automobilista 2-Besitzer diesmal auf das "Monatsupdate" für die PC-Rennsimulation warten. Mit der nun in der GT5- und G40 Cup-Serie fahrbaren Ginetta G40 und insgesamt betrachtet umfangreichen Verbesserungen werden die Simracer jedoch gebührend entschädigt.

Die am späten Samstagnachmittag veröffentlichte Version 1.1.1.0 umfasst unter anderem ein großes Update der LiveTrack-Technologie hat aber auch sonst von den Überarbeitungen bei den Strecken und Fahrzeugen einmal abgesehen viele Verbesserungen zu bieten.
So hat das Entwicklerteam weitere Korrekturen und Anpassungen an Benutzeroberfläche und HUD vorgenommen und sich ferner dem Verhalten der KI und der für das allgemeine Fahrgefühl verantwortlichen Physik gewidmet. Die einzelnen Änderungen können wie gewohnt nachstehend eingesehen werden.
Mit weiteren Hotfix-Updates ist laut Renato Simioni in den nächsten Tagen zu rechnen. Wie gewöhnlich reagiert man damit auf die von der AMS2-Community erhaltenen Rückmeldungen zur aktuellen Version.

PHYSICS
-Further differential and driveline fine tuning; further reduced crankshaft mass (reduces overall engine inertia); reduced axle shaft mass and slightly reduced wheel bearing losses (slightly increases top speed and improves differential functionality)
-Further tire tread adjustments for all cars (generally less speed sensitivity, slightly sharper peak slip angles)
-Revised tire grip falloff rates when under and over optimal operating temperature, and added rates to several tires that didn´t feature substantial falloff rates
-Further revisions to rain tire compounds
-Slightly reduced efficiency of slicks on wet surface
-Slightly increased tire automatic preheating ratio before race starts
-Adjusted optimal temperature ranges for carbon and steel brakes
