RaceRoom: Update, Hotfix und Porsche Pack 2023 fuer die Rennsimulation

3 Mal Porsche heißt es für RaceRoom mit dem Porsche Pack 2023 Zoom

Für aktuell 8,97 EUR gibt es im RaceRoom-Store die neuesten 2022-Modelle des 911 GT3 R und GT3 Cup in der Form des 992, letzterer sowohl in der Sprint- als auch in der Ausdauerspezifikation, sowie den klassischen 944 Turbo Cup von 1987 als Komplettpaket. Wahlweise können die Fahrzeuge auch einzeln zum Preis von jeweils 3,98 EUR erworben werden.

Neben dieser Spielerweiterung wurde zudem ein größeres Update für die PC-Rennsimulation veröffentlicht. Die neue RaceRoom-Version 0.9.4.83 ist 3,6 GB groß und beinhaltet den McLaren 720s GT3 in der GTR3-Fahrzeugklasse mit einer Auswahl an verschiedenen Designs sowie Verbesserungen der Simulation der Reifenkontaktfläche, Traktionskontrolle und des ABS, welche darauf abzielen das Fahrerlebnis realistischer zu gestalten.

Wie sich dem umfangreichen Änderungsprotokoll weiter unten entnehmen lässt, wurden zudem weitere Überarbeitungen allgemeiner Natur und bei einer ganzen Reihe an Fahrzeugen, Serien und Strecken Verbesserungen vorgenommen.

Am Freitag, 21. Juli 2023 wurde ein 60 MB großer Hotfix nachgelegt der weitere Anpassungen bei den Voreinstellungen der Traktionskontorlle und bei einzelnen Fahrzeugen mit sich bringt.

RaceRoom - 0.9.4.85-Changelog:
-Adjusted default TC presets to be suitable for beginners (preset 1) to esports level (preset 4-5)
-Mazda MX-5 - Reduced engine power output so the 184hp figure is now at the flywheel rather than at the wheels, increased drag. Aero balance is unchanged. Leaderboards will have to be wiped next maintenance.
-Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (991.2 and 992) - AI should now give slightly more side-to-side room
-Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) - Brake duct cooling adjustments (-5 per cent front / +5 per cent rear)
-Lotus Evora GT4 - Improved baseline Set-up with stiffer front springs, softer rear springs and softer anti-roll bars
-Fixed ABS sound that was missing from the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) Endurance, the Bentley Continental GT3 and the Audi R8 LMS Ultra

RaceRoom - 0.9.4.83-Changelog:

-Improved simulation of Tyre Contact Patch, now affected by longitudinal forces. This will result in more pneumatic trail under braking and therefore a tighter feeling in FFB under braking.

-Fixed excessive tyre wear being applied while the player's car was under AI control
-Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO - Adjusted aerodynamic behaviour so that reducing rake has less effect on aero efficiency
-DTM 2020 - Tweaks to differential settings
-Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO - Adjusted aerodynamic behaviour so that reducing rake has less effect on aero efficiency
-Formula RaceRoom 2 - Slight increase of fuel consumption to around 2.2 L/min or 65L/100Km
-Formula RaceRoom 90 - Updated brake behaviour to latest versions - now brakes spend more of the lap at and around optimal temps
